As a vital part of our production team, the Sanitation Associate is responsible for ensuring our facility remains clean, safe, and compliant with health regulations. Your role includes thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing equipment, workstations, and production areas to maintain a hygienic environment for our delicious snacks. You’ll work closely with the production team to ensure all standards are met and contribute to a safe workplace culture. This position also offers the chance to develop your skills in cleaning procedures and safety practices, all while playing an essential role in our commitment to quality and safety!
Your Mission:
- Adhering to sanitation procedures and dry-cleaning equipment and floors, includes removing left over product from machinery and ground using a squeegee.
- Disassembling and covering control panels and electrical equipment; removing coverings and reassembling some machinery.
- Washing equipment with water and foam, scrubbing machinery, performing a hot water rinse, and sanitizing operating equipment as required.
- Disposing of garbage and compost; refilling garbage bins with bags.
- Sweeping, squeegee, and vacuuming floors and changing and cleaning footbaths.
- Ensuring sanitation quality meets company standards by following cleaning procedures and communicating and coordinating with Quality Assurance (QA) and problem solving when issues occur.
- Working in other areas as assigned.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 1 year sanitation experience is an asset.
- Previous WHMIS training an asset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a dedication to sanitation and safety.
- Working as part of a team, often with minimal supervision and maintaining a positive and respectful workplace.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving.
Good to Know:
- This position requires successful completion of a clear background check prior to the start date.
- Must be available to work the Graveyard Shift on a full-time basis from 9:00pm-5:30am, Monday – Friday.
- Steel Toed Safety Shoes are required, Personal Protective Equipment will be provided onsite.
- Starting wage is $20.92 + Shift Premium per hour.

Your Mission:
Brand & Marketing Execution:
- Support overarching marketing strategy and planning efforts.

Content & Digital:
- Develop engaging marketing content, including writing compelling copy and coordinating visuals for various platforms.

Events & Community Engagement:

Vendor Management:
- Liaise directly with external content creators and other marketing vendors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on brand, consumer, or digital marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to write engaging copy.
- Graphic design skills an asset
- Experience managing social media platforms (posting, engagement, basic reporting).
- Familiarity with website content management systems.
- A keen eye for visuals and content creation skills (e.g., photo and video capture for social).
- Organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Our production team is responsible for making all our healthy snacks from beginning to end in a safe & tasty manner. That includes everything from the preparation of our raw root vegetables, to monitoring fryers, to packaging freshly cooked chips, and even helping with keep our production area super clean. This position also offers the opportunity to grow your skills by learning about equipment maintenance & fryer operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of raw materials including chopping.
- Completion of pre-assembly work is not limited to stock assembly lines, set up belts, cut open boxes.
- Application of labels, collection of materials, assembling materials into packages/product cartons.
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
- Ensure that the plant cleanliness is maintained throughout the day.
- Wrapping skids up to 7ft high.
- Operate pallet jack to move skids.
- Assemble/Disassemble equipment as required.
- Cleaning scales (requires bending/strenuous work).
- Sanitation of equipment and work area as assigned.
- Other tasks as assigned by Operations Manager and/or Production Supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Highly flexible and ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic with a high regard for accuracy and quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- First Aid, Forklift and/or Food Safety certifications are an asset.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

- Must be available to work the Afternoon Shift on a full-time basis from 4:00am to 2:00pm, Monday-Thursday.

This role involves preparing and operating production machinery, ensuring maximum operational uptime for seasoning and packaging equipment, and diligently documenting materials and products. You’ll also lead a small team on the line, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with other departments to maintain smooth operations.
Your Mission:
- Set up and pre-operative checks of machinery before production starts.
- Operation of machinery, effectively resolve issues as they arise, and maintain equipment cleanliness.
- Maximize operational uptime on seasoning and packaging equipment on designated line(s).
- Documentation/record keeping of materials consumed and product produced (up to 6 different records).
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
- Communicate with maintenance and shipping/receiving departments as necessary.
- Monitor CCPs.
- Ensure product changeovers are completed in a timely manner.
- Replenish seasoning into flavouring machine.
- Lead team of up to 2 people on the line.
- Other tasks as assigned by Production Supervisors or Lead Hand.
What You Bring:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machines.
- Ability to multi-task in a high paced work environment.
- 2+ years of production experience.
- Must be able to comfortably lift up-to 50lbs.
- Understanding of HACCP principles and practices.
- Ability to work well with others and foster a positive relationship with peers.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- First Aid, Forklift and/or Food Safety certifications are considered an asset.
