Our production team is responsible for making all our healthy snacks from beginning to end in a safe & tasty manner. That includes everything from the preparation of our raw root vegetables, to monitoring fryers, to packaging freshly cooked chips, and even helping with keep our production area super clean. This position also offers the opportunity to grow your skills by learning about equipment maintenance & fryer operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of raw materials including chopping.
- Completion of pre-assembly work is not limited to stock assembly lines, set up belts, cut open boxes.
- Application of labels, collection of materials, assembling materials into packages/product cartons.
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
- Ensure that the plant cleanliness is maintained throughout the day.
- Wrapping skids up to 7ft high.
- Operate pallet jack to move skids.
- Assemble/Disassemble equipment as required.
- Cleaning scales (requires bending/strenuous work).
- Sanitation of equipment and work area as assigned.
- Other tasks as assigned by Operations Manager and/or Production Supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Highly flexible and ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic with a high regard for accuracy and quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- First Aid, Forklift and/or Food Safety certifications are an asset.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- This position requires successful completion of a clear background check.
- Must be available to work the Afternoon Shift on a full-time basis from 2:00PM – 12:00AM Monday-Thursday.
- Steel Toed Safety Shoes are required, Personal Protective Equipment will be provided onsite.
- Starting wage is $19.21 + $1.50 shift premium per hour.

The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are picked accurately and safely loaded onto trucks as scheduled. Also, responsible for receiving raw materials, components, finished goods, maintenance supplies as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and pre-operative checks of machinery before production starts.
- Operation of machinery, effectively resolve issues as they arise, and maintain equipment cleanliness.
- Maximize operational uptime on seasoning and packaging equipment on designated line(s).
- Documentation/record keeping of materials consumed and product produced (up to 6 different records).
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
- Communicate with maintenance and shipping/receiving departments as necessary.
- Monitor CCPs.
- Ensure product changeovers are completed in a timely manner.
- Replenish seasoning into flavouring machine.
- Lead team of up to 2 people on the line.
- Other tasks as assigned by Production Supervisors or Lead Hand.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machines.
- Ability to multi-task in a high paced work environment.
- 2+ years of production experience.
- Must be able to comfortably lift up-to 50lbs.
- Understanding of HACCP principles and practices.
- Ability to work well with others and foster a positive relationship with peers.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- First Aid, Forklift and/or Food Safety certifications are considered an asset.
OTHER INFORMATION:

- Working knowledge of production equipment, Start-up, and shutdown of production lines.
- Ensure all safety requirements are met such as personal protective equipment, WHMIS, lockout/tag out procedures and chemical mixing precautions.
- Identify and report potential hazards.
- Can identify equipment problems and remedy them.
- Identify & take-action on issues that impact food safety & quality by bringing concerns to Supervisor’s attention.
- Ensure accurate completion of all daily reports and required documentation.
- Lead by example – by dealing w/team members & responding to changes in work environment in a positive manner.
- Must possess maturity, treat others w/respect in a mentoring environment & adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Receive ingredients and packaging materials according to Company standards and procedures.
- Receive and document ingredients and packaging according to purchase orders.
- Understand raw material and packaging specifications.
- Be vigilant and report damaged materials or delivery shortages.
- Pick orders accurately and effectively on a timely basis
- Practice “first in first out” stock rotation
- Ensure finished products are shipped according to Company standards and procedures.
- Responsible for loading trucks
- Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork
- Maintain pallet control systems to Company standard.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness is always maintained.
- Perform other duties and/or tasks as directed by Supervisor/Manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a shipping/receiving position.
- Forklift and WHMIS certified required.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance guidelines always.
- Knowledge and understanding of best Warehouse safety practices.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation would be considered an asset.
- Superior communications skills and the ability to deal with a variety of front-line challenges in a proactive manner.
- Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
- Adept with Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects.

- Must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10AM to 10PM
- Starting wage is $22.00 per hour + Shift Premium

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining strong internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the technical aspects of AP and AR systems, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills to optimize accounting processes and support the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and customer transactions.
- Ensure the preparation and review of AP and AR reports, with proper expense classifications, account coding, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure all vendor payments are made on time and in accordance with terms; also ensure timely invoicing and collection of receivables to maintain cash flow.
- Implement and maintain best practices for both AP and AR processes, optimizing efficiency and accuracy through continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor and customer relationships, resolving discrepancies, disputes, and payment issues promptly.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service, finance) to ensure accurate coding of expenses and smooth processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor AR aging reports, ensuring timely follow-up on overdue balances to reduce bad debt exposure.
- Perform regular reconciliations of AP and AR accounts, identifying discrepancies and ensuring corrective action is taken, especially during month-end and year-end closings.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements related to both AP and AR functions.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to AP and AR teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring team performance meets company standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounting standard for private enterprise (ASPE), financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience in a manufacturing or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
